Dear Families,
I hope you all had a wonderful winter break!
Tomorrow
the children will enter a transformed classroom! New furniture was
delivered and I was able to do some trading to fine tune our class set
up. The kids will be surprised!
In addition,
first thing in the morning we will participate in a workshop provided by
the University Musical Society to prep the kids for our field trip on
Friday to a youth performance of Urban Bush Women. Watch for a permission slip to sign.
Monday, Jan 15 there will be no school in honor of his birthday. I will be exploring the concept of leadership with the class.
January
22-26 we will have Focus Studies, so watch for more information in the
Wednesday packet. A selection sheet will come home for each student to
select 5 Focus Studies they are interested in.
